Did You Answer All The Questions Honestly?
Chances are that you responded the same way as 95% of everyone else who actually bothered to read all the above questions.
"Why" you might say?
Well... Almost all of humanity suffers from the same condition...
UNREALIZED GOOD INTENTIONS
95% of what we may call the industrialized first world are all pretty much the same. We have the same wants, desires, needs AND the also much the same problems.
We all want to do so much more with our lives than we actually do.
Why is that?
Life "appears" to be hard enough without spending energy on positive and divine pursuits and so most of the world "settles" for a habitual lifestyle where we become NUMB TO LIFE. Or another word would be "oblivious to the obvious".
Let's face it: It is not easy to look in the mirror and see our shortcomings. It is so much easier to just look away.
Deep down inside we desperately hope (and some even pray) that our lives will BECOME more fruitful and fulfilling, but it hardly ever does. Why is this such a common problem?
We hide behind numbness and day goes by after day... and next thing you know, you are 70 years old with nothing much to show for your life. Well... Little that truly matters anyway.
Will you be just one more person who existed on this planet as a temporary passenger through space going round and round with no purpose at all? A precious life wasted perhaps?
Will the world know about you 10 years from now? Will you be remembered for your contribution to this planet 100 years from now? Odds are, that if you keep doing what you are doing... probably not.
Most people, too many in fact, are just trying to survive until tomorrow because of instinct or fear of death, but in fact, most people have very little to truly LIVE for. Some live for their children and that is a worthy cause but there is so much more to life.
That is not a life. It is a self inflicted punishment... Why the insanity?
Here is something for you to think about...
If you have not found something
that you are willing to die for...
Then you have not LIVED!
This little statement kept me occupied for several hours and it operates on many levels beyond the obvious. Spend this day thinking about it and maybe it will add richly to your life experience as well. It makes one re-evaluate one's career or purpose in life somewhat.
